Andrea Solis

First Place

Actively engaging in communities through work and service, Andrea Solis seeks to understand and interact with the human landscape and our changing world through engineering. Solis started taking pictures in high school and incorporated the hobby in many aspects of her life to learn about the people and landscapes around her. Currently, Solis works as an Outreach Intern for the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District. To this day, Solis continues to take photographs through various experiences.

The District owns and operates a system of sanitary sewers and pumping stations
that serves 135,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers, and
government agencies. The District has evolved from being a technical engineering entity into a valuable resource manager, a partner in local economic development, and an active member of the watershed community.
