We would like to inform you that LACity’s LASAN and the environment applied for the MyLA2050 grant and has been selected as one of the 25 finalists this year! The application is titled “LA Industry: Circular Textiles” and is focused on creating a HUB and online platform to increase reuse rates, create green markets, resource conservation and reduce the amount of waste going to landfills. The work is a continuation of our current material recovery endeavors.
As a finalist, we are set to receive a minimum of $10,000 and up to $100,000 depending on the number of public votes received. Public voting will begin on Monday, July 13, 2020 (9AM PST) and end on Monday, July 20, 2020 (5PM PST).
We are asking for your support in the voting process to help LASAN receive the maximum grant award.
