LEE + RO Names Jay Jung Vice President of Operations

LEE + RO, Inc., today announced that it has appointed Jay Jung, P.E., as vice president of operations. Jung will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations, resource management and planning, as well as staff development and training. He’s also a member of the senior management team and reports directly to the CEO.

Jung has intimate knowledge of LEE + RO’s operations as he’s been in a managerial position with the company since 2006. His responsibilities include resource allocation planning and direction, ERP platform utilization, project budget compliance and monitoring, project management oversite, and project managers’ best practices training.

“Having worked very closely with Jay over the past 14 years, I know he’s the perfect individual to take on this role,” said CEO Dhiru Patel. “He has a unique ability to anticipate operational situations, evaluate them quickly and implement a solution before they become a problem. Jay’s relationship-building skills and managerial training style will enable the company to continue along its current growth trajectory while providing our clients with a partner they can entrust with their most complex challenges.”

Said Jung: “I’m eager to take on this role to increase our capacity to take on even more complex projects while also continuing to strengthen the foundation of the company by building a team of young engineers dedicated to solving the critical water infrastructure challenges ahead.”

Jung has over 18 years in municipal water and wastewater treatment research, engineering, process design, and consulting experience. He’s also highly regarded for his plant design, process and mechanical design for chemical treatment at the plants, and disinfection systems.

Jung received his M.S. degree in environmental engineering from the University of Southern California. He also received an M.S. degree in environmental engineering from Yonsei University, South Korea. Jung is a California-registered professional civil engineer.
