DAMS President Ron Scriven Has Passed Away

CWEA is heartbroken to share the news that DAMS President Ronald Scriven has passed away. Ron was the General Manager of Crestline Sanitation District in the mountain region of Southern California, and worked for the district for over 20 years.

Ron is survived by his wife and children. His friends and co-workers at Crestline have started a Go Fund Me page to support the family during this challenging time.

Ronald Scriven Obituary

Ronald Frank Scriven of Crestline, CA, passed away on September 27, 2023 at 44. Ron was a mountain resident for ~27 years. He worked at Crestline Sanitation for 20 years and recently was their General Manager. He loved his family and his job. Ron was kind, generous, caring, happy, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. If someone needed help, he was always there to lend a hand. Ron loved music and played the piano and the guitar. He loved his family and would do anything and everything for them. When his sons were young, he was their soccer coach. He loved having game day parties with family and friends, while he cheered his 49ers and Lakers onto victory. Halloween parties were his specialty.

He is survived by Ronald B. Scriven, father, and his wife Cheryl of Lucerne Valley, CA; Alice Rindfleisch, mother, of Albuquerque, NM; Marshall and Evin, his sons, of Crestline, CA, Christine Houston, sister, and her husband Michael, of Lake Arrowhead, CA; Faith Scriven, sister, of Lucerne Valley, CA. His girlfriend, Summer Tamburelli and her two children, Ryan and Athena.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Church of the Woods, 1410 Calgary Drive, Lake Arrowhead, CA on Oct 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
