CWEA is the proud recipient of a Silver Award in the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Power of A Awards for “The State of COVID in California, CWEA’s Year-Long Education Campaign for Wastewater Professionals.”
Each year, ASAE highlights the best work of nonprofits at the “Power of A” Awards. This year, six organizations received Summit Awards, 21 organizations earned Gold Awards, and 39 organizations received Silver Awards.
On April 1st of 2020, days after the Governors Stay at Home order, CWEA broadcast the first of our monthly COVID updates. Experts from sister agencies, universities, and regulators such as the CDC and SWRCB sprung to action to bring members the latest information and resources on Covid in wastewater.
