Troy Mitchell
I met Troy Mitchell when I was hired at Clear Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant as an operator in 2015. Immediately you could tell that Troy was passionate about wastewater, specifically the microbiology that made up the activated sludge process. He was always encouraging operations staff to look under the microscope to become more familiar with the microorganisms that were treating the wastewater.
As a supervisor he supported operations staff and allowed staff room to learn and grow as operators. Troy has held his Grade V Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License through the State Water Resources Control Board for nearly 19 years now. From over 30 years of service in the wastewater field Troy took pride in the work he did and happily shared his wealth of knowledge in the industry.
