Shawn Spromberg’s experience expands for 18 + years working in the industry in the areas of Wastewater Collections Water Treatment and Water Distribution.
He has learned, performed and developed a vast and wide range of knowledge skills and talents in many different areas from all facets of Wastewater Collections in addition to Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Inspection and Industrial Waste.
Began working in the Wastewater Collections and Maintenance field in 2004 and a CWEA member in 2004 as well. Worked through the ranks as a Worker I then Worker II and was then promoted to Lead Wastewater Utility Worker in the Wastewater Maintenance Division. Following that he was advanced to Treatment Plant operator at CVWD Grade IV Conventional Treatment Plant. He was then (2014) promoted to Wastewater Utility Supervisor which is his current position.

Purpose

This committee-specific society recognizes and honors individually, both the inductees and their employers for their combined contributions which promote increased professionalism in the collection systems field. The society was formed in April 1994 with the formal inductions of all past CWEA Collection Systems Committee Chairpersons, all past recipients of the Richard D. Pomeroy Award, and other significant contributors.

Up to five (5) inductees may be inducted each year into this Society. Induction will be decided by a minimum of three (3) members of the Society.
