John Dobson
I retired in 2024 from the Wastewater Management and Water Treatment industry after 30 years of service. In that time, I learned and designed numerous Standard Operations Procedures and supervised many people. I started out as an OIT with a Grade 2 Certificate in Wastewater. I went on and passed my Grade 2 Water Treatment Certificate. Then I pursued my Grade 3 Wastewater Certificate. After several years of working in the field, I passed my Grade 5.
I believe that this type of work protects the earth’s environment, and my entire career’s work ethic was to support this belief. I’ve always been open-minded to new technologies as it enhances the operational process.
I currently hold a Grade 5 Wastewater Certificate and a Grade 2 Water Treatment Certificate. In retirement, I enjoy my 1971 Dodge Challenger that I restored from a rust bucket, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and playing my drums.
