Jennifer Kaiser is the Public Information Officer at Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District, a role that includes media relations, writing, graphic design, managing education programs for 3rd graders through college students, website oversight. She organizes Vallejo’s Coastal Cleanup Day, with over 20 different sites and 600-800 volunteers, and coordinates the Vallejo Watershed Alliance, a community-based volunteer group with monthly creek cleanups and habitat restoration projects. Prior to her 17 years with the District, she was the Communications Director at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, and worked in the marketing department of The Nature Company in Berkeley. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz. Jennifer lives in Benicia with her husband, writer Kevin Nelson, and has three children.
