Heidi Birdsell

Heidi Birdsell is an Environmental Chemist II at Dublin San Ramon Services District. She has 6 years of wastewater experience and holds a CWEA Laboratory Analyst Grade IV certificate.

Heidi has over 17 years of experience working in analytical labs. Her experience spans a wide variety of methods which include wet chemistry, microbiology, and the operation of sophisticated instrumentation such as ICP-OES, ICP/MS, AA, CVAA, FIMS, Skalar and IC.

Heidi is the vice chair of the CWEA SF Bay Section Lab Committee where she has been integral in organizing worthwhile trainings for lab committee members. She is also a member of the CWEA State Lab Committee and has worked with CWEA as a subject matter expert to update the Lab Analyst Exam.
