Heath Cortez

Heath Cortez has been a dedicated West Bay Sanitary District employee since 2005 when he was hired as a Maintenance worker. In 2007 he was promoted to Rehab Supervisor and he held this position for the next 10 years. During his time as Rehab Supervisor he and his crew performed 90 open trench repairs and 65 pipe patches each and every year. In 2017 Heath was promoted to Operation Supervisor he is now dedicated to the over all field operations, including the Training and Safety of all the maintenance staff. Heath proudly holds a Collection System Grade 3 and is the the Safety Chair for the District Safety Committee. No challenge is to great for Heath and his crew. Heath is a great mentor for his young staff. We are proud of Heath and his contribution to our agency. We’ve reduced SSOs and fixed many pipes because of his efforts.
