Dorien Mc Elroy

Dorien is the Collection Systems Manager for Irvine Ranch Water District. She has served in this capacity for four years. Prior to that, Dorien was the Wastewater Supervisor in the Utilities Division of the City of Huntington Beach Public Works Department. She holds technical certification in the following disciplines: Collection System Maintenance, Wastewater Treatment, Drinking Water Treatment and Distribution, Environmental Compliance Inspection, and Laboratory Analysis. In 2015, Dorien worked to secure an award for IRWD as the Large Collection System of the Year. Dorien was selected as one of CWEA’s 2018 All Star Emerging Leaders and was chosen to sit on a panel discussion during this year’s Annual Conference in Palm Springs. She currently serves on the SARBS Board as a First Year Director and offers support, guidance and technical experience to the Board and the community it serves.
