Norah Duffy, Director of Credentialing
Please join us in congratulating staff member Norah Duffy, Director of Certification, as recipient of the 2019 Next Gen Professional Award from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE).
ICE is a professional membership association providing education, networking, and other resources for organizations and individuals who work in and serve the credentialing industry. ICE is a leading developer of standards for certification and certificate programs. It is both a provider of and a clearing house for information on trends in certification, test development and delivery, assessment-based certificate programs, and other information relevant to the credentialing community.
The ICE Next Gen Professional Award recognizes an individual who is early in the development of their credentialing career and whose work has separated them from their peers. The individual demonstrates a commitment to developing skills necessary for success in the credentialing profession, a desire to create a career path in credentialing, and a willingness to mentor others within their organization.

Norah has been with CWEA for 3 years starting as Certification Manager, quickly rising to the Director position in 2018. Her colleagues describe her as a pleasure to work with, intelligent, thoughtful and professional. Her familiarity with best practices in the credentialing industry will help ensure the ongoing applicability and validity of CWEA’s Technical Certification Program.
