Tracy Wyhlidko

First Place
 Northern Sacramento Valley Section

I have been an active member of CWEA since 1997, participating in local section leadership and providing training at meetings and conferences. I appreciate the peer to peer training and professional development CWEA provides for its members. My career in wastewater began long before I was hired at a wastewater treatment plant in 1997. I worked at several laboratories analyzing water, wastewater, and horse feces extracts (of all things!), starting as a student intern during college. I never realized that with all of that training and experience, I would still be wearing steel toed boots and opening manholes for most of my working life, but it has been an amazing 25+ years serving the public and working to solve local water pollution issues. CWEA members have a sense of humor, pride, and camaraderie that is hard to beat. Thank you so much for the opportunity to serve.
