Emanuel Flores
Emanuel was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He is happily married 4 years to his high school sweetheart that he has been with since 2002.
Emanuel started his journey as an electrician shortly after high school. While working at Home Depot he came across a 4-year Apprenticeship Program through the San Diego Community College system. He applied, was accepted, and completed his apprenticeship in 2008. From 2008 until 2014 Emanuel was a Journeyman Electrician working in the private sector. In 2014 he began looking for something with a greater sense of purpose. He found that something more with the City of Escondido in April of 2015. Emanuel has been providing exceptional service for Escondido ever since.
Emanuel is a great electrician. He performs a vital role in protecting the environment while recognizing the preciousness of water.
Emanuel has a CWEA Grade 4 in Electrical and Instrumentation Certificate.
Purpose
The Supervisor of the Year award recognizes successful mentoring of team members, professional development, and effective communication. CWEA’s Leadership Development Committee selects the winner.
