Abby has always been passionate about agriculture and environmental sciences. As a first-generation college student, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After 5 years in the tech industry, COVID left her unemployed and looking for a new career to live a life towards her passions. With a quick turnaround, Abby earned her Associate of Science in Wastewater Treatment Operations from SRJC while working odd-end jobs until she was hired as an OIT up in Lake County and then ultimately an operator at SD5 in Tiburon. She promptly attained multiple State and CWEA certifications and is currently on the CWEA RES Board. Abby has no intention of letting off the gas and can’t wait to see what the future of water and wastewater has in store for the industry!
