Here’s to you! Thank you to the participants of the first ever ELAP Laboratory Conference. It was a huge success! Around 500 of you joined us each day for talks about the accreditation process, emerging contaminants and technologies, and laboratory efficiency. We hope you found the presentations beneficial and have been able to take some new ideas and information back to your laboratories. But don’t fret, the fun doesn’t have to be over!

On World Accreditation Day, an important day, we also want to recognize our incredible laboratory community and the important work you do to protect public and environmental health in our state.
Your work is the foundation for so many important decisions that impact the daily lives of Californians, and your efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation signal to regulators and the public that they can be confident in the data you produce.
We look forward to continuing to work together to make our laboratories and accreditation program national leaders.
