Announcing the Water Equity Clearinghouse

Resource Recovery, Technology and Innovation
From US Water Alliance

We are pleased to announce the release of the Water Equity Clearinghouse, an online database that showcases innovative and promising practices in equitable water management.

We encourage you to visit the clearinghouse–users can search for organizations by focus area, strategies, populations served, location, and more. The clearinghouse showcases the work of utilities, community-based organizations, nonprofits, coalitions, government agencies, philanthropic organizations, researchers, and others.

If you would like to learn more about water equity, please join our upcoming One Water Webinar, Institutionalizing Policies and Practices that Advance Water Equity on Friday, October 6 at 1pm ET. The webinar will feature Michael Davis, Director, Environmental Justice & Service Equity Division, Seattle Public Utilities and Juliet Ellis, Assistant General Manager, External Affairs, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. We will also provide an overview of how to use the Water Equity Clearinghouse. You can register for the webinar here.

The clearinghouse is a companion piece to our national briefing paper An Equitable Water Future, the most comprehensive paper to date on the connections between water management and vulnerable communities living in America.

Thank you to everyone who made the clearinghouse possible, especially the featured organizations. We are so inspired by their wisdom and innovation.
