On October 3 the Harris & Associates Board of Directors officially welcomed Steve Winchester as the firm’s new CEO in concurrence with the retirement of former CEO Lisa Larrabee.

The Board selected Steve from a strong pool of internal candidates after a thoughtful and rigorous succession planning process. Since joining the firm in 2016, Steve has been an impactful member of the Harris leadership team, most recently serving as both COO and CFO. He will continue his role as CFO moving forward.

“Steve’s well-rounded business and outstanding leadership background, evidenced by his impact during his time at Harris, make him the best choice to lead the next phase of the firm’s journey,” said Lisa Larrabee, who retains her position as Chair of Harris’ Board of Directors. “His drive and passion for Harris to become a high-performing organization will further strengthen our wonderful culture.”

“I’m excited to lead Harris, building on the momentum of Lisa’s leadership,” Steve said. “By continuing to live our purpose, vision, and shared values, we’ll help our clients solve their most challenging and complex problems, now and into the future.”

Steve’s appointment was one of many all internal promotions announced by Harris. Chief People Officer Michelle White will step into the role of COO and Division President of the Consulting practice. A strategic thinker and innovative leader, Michelle will build on her long list of accomplishments to enhance the employee experience and strengthen client relationships.

Chief Business Development Officer Ehab Gerges will add to his duties by taking over as new Division President of Program and Construction Management for the retiring John Kuprenas. Harris also promoted eleven other people to hold the officer designation of Vice President.

“These promotions demonstrate Harris’ breadth and depth of internal talent and the strategic importance of our past and future investment in leadership development,” said Steve.
