We’re honored to welcome managers from the California State Water Board Office of Operator Certification (OOC) to an informative webinar for water professionals and utility leaders focused on the State’s drinking water distribution, treatment and wastewater treatment operator exams.

About the speakers

Annette Caraway, Chief of the Office of Operator Certification.  Ms. Caraway has dedicated 6 years managing the Office of Operator Certification.  She is responsible for the Drinking Water and the Wastewater Operator Certification Programs.

Alice Webber, Chief of the Drinking Water Operator Certification Program.  Ms. Webber has dedicated 20 years of service to the Drinking Water Operator Certification Program. She has been the manager of the program for over 5 years and is instrumental in the success of the program.

Neal Funston, Chief of the Wastewater Operator Certification Program.  Mr. Funston has dedicated 5 years to the Wastewater Operator Certification Program.  He has recently been promoted to the manager of the unit.  He is instrumental in the success of the program.

Jenn Jones, CAE, IOM, is the Executive Director of CWEA. Jenn has over 20 years of association management experience and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She most recently served as Executive Director for the American Institute of Architects, San Francisco Chapter and The Center for Architecture + Design.

Sue Mosburg is the Executive Director of the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association. Prior to assuming this position in January 2020, she was a long-time AWWA volunteer where her leadership roles included Chair of the California Water Loss Control Collaborative, Association Director on the AWWA Governing Board, and CA-NV AWWA Section Chair. A public servant for over 35 years, Sue is an inspiration to the water industry with her can-do energy and collaborative style. Sue holds a B.S. in Business Management an A.A. in Speech Communication. She is a California State certified Water Treatment Operator, Water Distribution Operator; and CA-NV AWWA certified Water Use Efficiency Practitioner, and Water Audit Validator.
