Meet James Hake: Takeover October 5

James Hake is a licensed civil engineer and certified project manager with five years of experience working in the water resources industry as a consultant and at a utility. Currently, he is an Associate Civil Engineer at the East Bay Municipal Utility District in Oakland, where he supports strategic planning, communications, asset management, and administrative operations for a wastewater treatment plant serving 740,000 customers. James has an M.S. in civil & environmental engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley.

Meet Ehsani Jha: Takeover October 6

Eshani Jha is an incoming engineering freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. She recently won the 2021 Stockholm Junior Water Prize International Competition for her research in efficient, sustainable, and affordable water purification systems.

Meet Lori Jones: Takeover October 7

Lori Jones is a lab technician with City of San Diego. Lori recently graduated from the Cuyamaca College Water Studies program. She was a former teacher and made a career change to the water sector. Lori currently works at South Bay Water Reclamation Plant in Environmental Chemistry Services as a Laboratory Technician. She enjoys working for the city of San Diego doing bench analyses for quality control and permits. She is a proud member of CWEA.
