Meet Sarah Marshall: CWEA’s New Marketing Coordinator

Sarah Marshall is CWEA’s new Marketing Coordinator, supporting communications that promote and celebrate the vital work of California’s clean water professionals. In her role, she leads social media strategy, develops compelling content, and coordinates campaigns that share the values, impact, and stories of the wastewater industry with members, partners, and the public.

Before joining CWEA, Sarah gained experience in social media marketing and strategic communication, with a focus on audience engagement and cultivating a strong, consistent brand voice. She is passionate about using storytelling and digital tools to connect people with meaningful work and public service.

Sarah holds a B.A. in English and Professional Writing from UC Davis, where she honed her ability to deliver clear, impactful messages—a strength she brings to every project. She’s proud to be part of CWEA and excited to support a mission rooted in environmental stewardship and public health across California.
