I am a Supervising Industrial Waste Inspector for L.A. County Sanitation Districts, responsible for overseeing a team of inspectors performing pretreatment-compliance inspections of industrial users. I’ve been with LACSD for 33 years, working in the water-quality laboratory; collection-systems section, implementing sewer-corrosion and sulfide-control programs; treatment-plant monitoring; wastewater reuse; and biosolids management. I have had certification through CWEA in Environmental Compliance Inspector and Biosolids Land Application Management.

While growing up in Southern California, I spent almost all my time around the Palos Verdes Peninsula, surfing, swimming, or diving. I have been fortunate to work in the water-treatment field, in which I get to have a role in protecting our local waterways and beaches by controlling point-source pollutants into our water-reclamation and wastewater-treatment plants.

In my spare time, you can find me either surfing my local beach breaks or volunteering in youth soccer, either managing my daughter’s team or refereeing matches.
