Fairfield Suisun Sewer District

Steve is a CA certified electrician who trained as an IBEW apprentice and has been doing electrical work for 20+ years with the last 12 at Fairfield Suisun Sewer District. Steve is enthusiastic about the work and is always there to answer questions and lend a helping hand.

Steve holds three separate Grade IV CWEA certifications, I/E, Mechanical and Collections. He volunteers to train others in what he knows and recently helped with the electrical inspections of the Blower Replacement project while still performing his regular duties.

One of his recent accomplishments is seeing the need and completing the redesign and installation of the VFD and controls of the plants candy waste injection system, replacing old DC VFD’s with ethernet controlled VFD’s working closely with our programmer to allow the operators to have more remote and precise control.

Steve is always looking for ways to improve the collections system.
