Jorge Huitron Diaz
Jorge Huitron is a Laboratory Technician II, working in the HARRF Water Quality Laboratory doing a multitude of chemical and physical analyses on water and wastewater. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Jorge is one of those who are true environmental stewards, protecting our water quality daily. Jorge has worked hard through the years learning as much as he can about drinking water and wastewater to better his knowledge in the field. Jorge continued to improve his water education by working hard to earn his Water & Wastewater Certificate from Palomar College.
He holds a CWEA Laboratory Analyst Grade 3 Certification, along with a
State Water Resources Control Board Drinking Water Operator – Treatment T3 Certification and a
State Water Resources Control Board Wastewater Operator Grade 2 Certification.
Purpose
The CWEA Quarter Century Recognition Program recognizes water professionals for their commitment to improving the quality of life and the protection of the environment. CWEA Quarter Century Recognition Program honorees have dedicated their careers in a challenging and most vital profession, the water environment field. These essential professionals who have spent countless hours improving our water environment include: Operators; Collection System, Maintenance, Laboratory, and Environmental Compliance personnel; Engineers; and Administrators.
CWEA Quarter Century honorees will be presented with a certificate recognizing their achievement and a lapel pin they can proudly wear identifying them as members of this elite group of professionals.
