Jesus Barron

Jesus is a seasoned wastewater collections professional with over 17 years of experience. A passionate and dedicated leader in his field, he has been a member of CWEA’s Southern Section Collection Systems Committee since 2022, where he currently serves as Treasurer. Additionally, Jesus serves as a Director for CWEA Santa Ana River Basin Section, since 2023, and Co-Chair of the Kirk Brooks Scholarship.

His expertise and commitment to advancing the wastewater collections field have made him a key figure in planning, organizing, and executing high-quality training events for the CWEA. Widely respected within the wastewater community, Jesus serves as Lead Wastewater Collections System Worker III for the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District.

He holds multiple certifications, including CWEA Wastewater Collections Grade 4, Mechanical Technologist Grade 1, and Electrical/Instrumentation Grade 1. Jesus is NASSCO certified in PACP, MACP, & LACP, & holds both SWRCB Water Distribution Operator Grade 2 & Water Treatment Operator Grade 1 certifications.
