Hollister Water Reclamation Facility

The Hollister Wastewater Plant is a 4.0 MGD Water Reclamation Facility. This facility is operated by one manager, four operators and one admin assistant. All operators double as maintenance technicians. This enhances the operators overall skills. This, along with ongoing training in safety, supervision and management, make them better overall operators and knowledgeable as they progress through their career.
The project also invests in each operators certification advancement by funding training, encouraging onsite training sessions, providing financial incentives and upwardly job reclassification upon certification achievement. Management takes great pride in the success of it operators and works to ensure that each employee receives the tools needed to reach their professional goals.
The plant had zero violations.
It provides reclaim water to agriculture as well as local parks.
The facility has gone more than 3,300 days without a lost day due to injury.
