George Munoz

Shannon Simmers works for City of Riverside as a Senior Environmental Compliance Inspector and has been a part of the CWEA family for 11 years. She has held many roles including her current position as CWEA SARBS Board Member-Secretary and TCP Training Liaison and previously CWEA P3S Committee Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Past Chair, Conference Chair, Program Chair, and Social Chair. She conducts CWEA TCP training for the ECI exam and is a Mentee for the CWEA Mentorship pilot program. She has participated in several CWEA projects including subject matter expert for the ECI exam revalidation and study guide development and leadership and education committee. She has been recognized by her peers as CWEA Emerging Leader and Person of the Year and received the CWEA 5S award and P3S Order of the Silver Cover. She is passionate about assisting others towards CWEA certifications and a career in the wastewater profession.
