The Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District serves more than 135,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in central Solano County, about 40 miles northeast of San Francisco. FSSD owns and operate a system of sanitary sewers and pumping stations and oversees wastewater collection and treatment, water recycling and stormwater management services.
Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District protects public health and the environment for the communities we serve in an efficient, responsible and sustainable manner.
Purpose
The Plant Safety award is awarded in three categories: small, medium and large. Criteria include number of injuries, lost-time accidents, record keeping, in-house training, emergency response and program implementation.
