Eric Van Cleeve

Eric Van Cleave is the Southern California Regional Sales Manager for SmartCover and a dedicated leader within the California Water Environment Association (CWEA). A volunteer with the San Diego Section since 2018, he recently served as 2024 Section President and has previously held roles including Engineering & Research Chair, TCP Chair, Second Director, Secretary, and Treasurer.

He has presented at multiple CWEA conferences and regional events, sharing practical expertise in SSO prevention, inflow & infiltration detection, lift station backup systems, and H₂S monitoring.

Known for his professionalism, collaborative leadership, and commitment to member engagement, Eric is passionate about strengthening the wastewater community through education, innovation, and volunteer service.
