Chad Stites
Chad Stites is a veteran and accomplished member of the team at South Placer Municipal Utility District, with nearly 35 years of experience in the wastewater collections system industry. As a hands-on operator and adept leader, he has made exceptional contributions to the advancement of the operations and maintenance of the SPMUD collection system.
During his career Chad has achieved the following notable accomplishments:
– Obtained a Grade 4 CWEA Certification in Collection System Maintenance.
– Served as Co-Chair of the CWEA Sacramento Area Section Collection System Committee from 2009-2016.
– Executed the continued implementation of a new computerized maintenance management system with all crews in the SPMUD Field Services Department.
A dedicated professional, Chad received the CWEA PICKS Award in 2010. His passion for the work and unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship are clear in everything he does.
Purpose
The CWEA Quarter Century Recognition Program recognizes water professionals for their commitment to improving the quality of life and the protection of the environment. CWEA Quarter Century Recognition Program honorees have dedicated their careers in a challenging and most vital profession, the water environment field. These essential professionals who have spent countless hours improving our water environment include: Operators; Collection System, Maintenance, Laboratory, and Environmental Compliance personnel; Engineers; and Administrators.
CWEA Quarter Century honorees will be presented with a certificate recognizing their achievement and a lapel pin they can proudly wear identifying them as members of this elite group of professionals.
