The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is sponsoring SB 966 that requires the State Water Resources Control Board to establish regulations for risk-based water quality standards for onsite non-potable water systems in multi-family residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings. The bill has been referred to the Senate Environmental Quality Committee and will likely be heard on April 4.
