John Boyd Leadership Award honors individuals whose leadership and mentorship have made a lasting impact on others’ professional growth and strengthened the P3S community.

John Boyd Leadership Award

The John Boyd Leadership Award is established to recognize outstanding leadership and mentorship which contributed to the development of another individual’s career in this field or inspired others to contribute to the P3S community. Deadline to submit is December 15.

1. The special award subcommittee shall be appointed by the Committee Chair from the ranks of the P3S Committee.


2. No member of the subcommittee shall be eligible for a nomination for the award.


3. The special award subcommittee shall choose a recipient from submitted nominations.


4. The subcommittee shall solicit nominations via social media, email, or other means.


5. This special award shall be announced by the Committee Chair at the P3S annual conference.
