Why should organizations nominate & participate?

formally recognize staff’s exceptional work at the local/state level
formally tout your achievements and problem-solving successes
chance to have a CWEA board member come to your board meeting and present the winning plaque/trophy
receive outside input for your projects and programs
cool, collectible plaques for winners
for 2008 be the first organization to have your name inscribed on the brand new Plant of the Year Trophy!!!
Nominators who submit complete package(s) will receive a very fashionable laser pointer as a token of “thank you” for your time!

Complete & send in four (4) copies of the nomination forms to compete in our local section (SAS) awards by deadline date of September 15th, 2008
Attend the SAS Annual Awards Dinner on January 9th, 2009 to mingle with your peers & accept winning plaque/trophies
Winners from our local section (SAS) automatically move onto the CWEA state-wide competition
Attend the CWEA Annual Conference in Palm Springs on April 28th – May 1st, 2009 to mingle with your peers & accept winning plaque/trophies
