The Sacramento Area Section (SAS) currently has over 820 members which are comprised of agencies, municipalities, districts, consultants, vendors and others. Our section produces a quarterly newsletter, the SAS Watch, which announces upcoming events including conventions, training seminars, tours, monthly luncheon meetings and CWEA board meetings. The section also holds various social events such as the Awards Banquet, the Toilet Seat Open Golf Tournament, and the annual summer picnic. These activities and meetings allow our members to network with other wastewater professionals, to learn of developing trends and issues that may impact wastewater treatment operations, and to find out how others are solving similar problems.
