The purpose of the annual Northern San Joaquin Section awards is to recognize outstanding professional achievements in the wastewater field, improve the professional status of all personnel working in the wastewater industry and related fields, and stimulate public awareness of the importance of wastewater treatment to public health and the environment. The members of the Awards Committee announce award recipients each December at the Awards and Installation Banquet. Applications are available at http://www.cwea.org/awards.
