NORTH COAST SECTION GOLF TOURNAMENT 2011 By Mickey Hulstrom & James Henry Many thanks to all who participated in the Tenth Annual North Coast Section CWEA Golf Tournament. The weather was perfect and the golfers had a great time. There were seven teams battling amongst each other for the coveted first place bragging rights in the Four-person Scramble at the Eureka Municipal Golf Course on June 25th. The final calibrated scores had all teams within 6 strokes of each other. This was a tight year in the standings. We had a three way tie for the Net score (low score with the handicap). The Golf Pro was kept busy re-evaluating how the tying teams did on certain holes to arrive at a tie breaker winner.
