Dinner & training events
In preparing your next training event, whether it is a dinner meeting or two-day conference, you may begin to feel that there was more to do than you originally thought. Prepare a budget, advertise, get contact hours and CEUs, and arrange for speakers and food and a location.

Local section and committee leaders, like you, have become very good at putting on low-cost training again and again. This training increases the knowledge and professionalism of everyone who works in the wastewater industry. In order to help you manage the sometimes-overwhelming task of organizing a training event, here are some questions that are frequently asked by local section and committee event planners.

What should the budget look like?
How much should the non-member differential be?
Who will speak at the event?
How can I get  my list of local section members?
How do I get Contact Hours and CEUs approved?
How can I put on a Specialty Conference?
Can I have a raffle?
What are CWEA's entertainment guidelines?
Is there an event survey I can use (that will also help recruit volunteers)?
