Each year the President makes sure
that every Local Section and State Committee has a Board
member assigned as a liaison. Board liaisons are responsible
for:
- Attending Local Section Board meetings and
Committee
meetings
- Gathering input on the organization's direction
and future as well as feedback on its programs and
services
- Providing information and perspective on Board decisions
and policy
- Helping ensure Local Sections and Committees follow
policy
- Advice and counsel on Local Section and Committee
issues
