2007 Colorado River Basin Section Local Section Awards It's that time of year again! I am pleased to submit to you the forms for the local section awards. Every year CORBS carries out this competition in order to recognize the most outstanding employee, department, and facility in each category. This is an excellent way for you to reward one or more employees for his or her outstanding achievements during the year. I sincerely hope that all of the agencies in the CORBS section will participate and I am here to help in any way I can. We are still using the short forms for local nominations to make it easier for all of you to participate, no matter what your resources are. The awards will be presented at the CORBS annual awards banquet in February. If your nominee should win the local competition, they will have the opportunity to participate in the state competition. The sate awards will be presented at the Annual Conference in April. Please make your selection and complete the nomination form as soon as possible. All nomination forms must be received by December 1 st , 2007.
