You can award Contact Hours for local section dinner
meeting even if each presentation is only 25-30 minutes
long. Just give your attendees an attendance form to
take to each meeting and have it signed-off each time
by an authorized local section representative. Attendance
at 2 dinner meeting will earn 1 Contact Hour.
How it works...
- Plan the technical subjects of at least two dinner
meetings in advance.
- Send your schedule of dinner meetings to the CWEA
office to verify what vocations can earn Contact Hours
(we just need to know the subjects or vocations addressed--
the specific topic can be determined later).
- After your dinner meeting technical subject schedule
has been approved, you can award Contact Hours for
all of the vocations approved. You don't have to keep
track of who attended what meetings.
- After each meeting sign-off each person for that
meeting. 1 Contact Hour is awarded for every 50 minutes
of technical presentation attended.
