Fee schedule

An increase in exam fees has gone into effect for the January 2008 exam applications. The increase was $10 per test. The changes are reflected in the table below.

*California Water Environment Certification. Tests given in California only. Non-member fee entitles applicant to a 1-year association membership at her or his option. 

**Michigan Water Environment Certification. Tests given in Michigan only. Non-member fee entitles applicant to a 1-year association membership at her or his option.

Certificate Renewal Fees
All certificate must be renewed annually. Renewal reminders are mailed to certificate holders three months in advance of the certificate expiration date.

Certificate holders who hold Michigan Water Environment Association (MWEA) certification must pay an additional $30 annually.  Certificate holders who hold California Water Environment Association (CWEA) certification must pay an additional $110 annually. This fee needs to be paid only once per year, regardless of the number of certificates held, and entitles the certificate holder to a one-year association membership at his or her option.
